Shipping Policy

Same-Day Dispatch

Orders before 12pm ET on business days ship the same day. Orders after that or on weekends ship the next business day.

Padded Packaging

Lyophilized vials packaged with moisture protection in a padded mailer. Vials are stable across typical shipping temperature windows.

Tracked, Discreet Delivery

Every order ships with carrier tracking in plain, unbranded outer packaging. Tracking number emailed within 24h of dispatch.

Risk of Loss on Buyer

Title and risk pass to buyer at the carrier acceptance scan. Theft and post-delivery loss are buyer responsibility.

Read before ordering

All sales are final. Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer upon the carrier's pickup of the shipment. The only exception is a shipment confirmed lost in transit by the carrier's official tracking record — see the Returns Policy for the lost-in-transit replacement terms.

1. Order Processing

Orders are processed Monday through Friday, excluding U.S. federal holidays. Orders placed before 12:00pm ET on a business day are packed and dispatched the same day. Orders placed after 12:00pm ET, on weekends, or on holidays are dispatched the next business day.

Orders may be cancelled for a full refund only before they enter processing (typically within 1 hour of placement). Once packed or dispatched, orders cannot be cancelled.

2. Domestic Shipping (United States)

  • Service: USPS Ground Advantage on every domestic order. Includes end-to-end tracking.
  • Transit time: 2–5 business days within the continental United States. Alaska, Hawaii, and APO/FPO addresses may take longer.
  • Free shipping on orders at or above $250 (before tax). Flat-rate shipping below that threshold, calculated at checkout.
  • PO Boxes: accepted. USPS delivers to all PO Boxes.
  • Destination scope: all 50 US states and APO/FPO addresses. No US territories outside the 50 states at this time.

3. International Shipping

Not currently offered. Kalon Research ships only to addresses within the 50 United States and APO/FPO. We do not ship internationally at this time.

Orders placed for non-US destinations will be cancelled and refunded in full before dispatch. We do not maintain a waitlist for international shipping.

4. Packaging

Lyophilized vials are packaged with moisture protection and shipped in a padded mailer. Lyophilized peptides are stable at ambient temperatures for the duration of a normal shipping window.

Discreet outer packaging: all shipments use plain, unbranded outer packaging with no Kalon Research markings or product references visible from the outside.

Upon receipt, transfer vials to refrigerated storage at 2–8°C as soon as practical.

5. Title and Risk of Loss

Title and risk of loss pass to the buyer at the USPS acceptance scan of the shipment. Once the shipment is in USPS custody, the buyer bears all risk relating to transit, including but not limited to: carrier delay, weather delay, missed delivery, porch theft, mis-delivery, and any post-delivery loss.

6. Lost-in-Transit Replacements

The only carrier-loss scenario eligible for replacement is a shipment whose carrier tracking record officially shows the package as lost (never delivered). Submit a lost-in-transit claim within 30 days of the original ship date as described in the Returns & Refund Policy.

Packages marked “delivered” by the carrier are not eligible, regardless of recipient claim.

7. Address Accuracy

Orders ship to the address provided at checkout. Kalon Research is not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect address entered by the buyer. Address corrections requested after dispatch may not be possible; if a carrier returns the package to us, the buyer is responsible for re-shipping costs and the order remains otherwise final.

8. Research Use Only

All products are sold strictly for in-vitro and laboratory research purposes. No quality control documentation (Certificate of Analysis, purity report, identity confirmation, sterility data) is provided with shipments. Buyer assumes all responsibility for product use, handling, storage, and any consequences thereof. See the Terms of Service for full terms.
